Freezing dry mix?

Post by Anthony » Tue Apr 14, 2015 7:06 pm

Hiya,

last set of Rat Rations eventually developed moths! :rollred: Took ages to get them all out. So from now on I'm just going to buy smaller bags. Is it okay to freeze the smaller bags to prevent this from happening?

Thanks

I always freeze mine and it's fine :)

Yep that will be fine. though keeping it cool works fine too. Mine has tended to live in a cool rat room or shed abdicate i never had any trouble until it was in a room off or front room,so warmer and then i got a few moths.
