Tumor starting between teeth?

Post by Fennic » Mon Jul 06, 2015 4:58 am

Hi all, we've got a 2 and half year old girl who I've just noticed her front teeth have begin to seperate. I can't think of anything that could she could have suffered a trauma on, shes got HLD so she doesn't climb, shes in a 1 tier cage and theres no other rats around her that could have damaged her. I've seen malocclusion before in bottom teeth but never top. I can't get a good picture of her teeth without manhandling her too much and I'm not going to stress her. I'll call the vets today but was hoping for some insight if anyone has any?

They can sometimes seperate there teeth a little from bruxing too much. I'd keep an eye on it for a day or two and if it doesnt go back then an x-ray might be helpful
