Last night my boys had avocado for the first time and really enjoyed it! My new boy did too which is great as he needs feeding up :)
Today they've got brown rice, carrots, broad beans, cucumber and raisins with linseed oil and a bit of turmeric :)

ETA: I lied, they had flaxseed oil :P

They're the same thing ;) Flax is the plant (genus is Linum), and derivitives are 'lin' - linseed are the seeds, linen the material from the stems, linseed oil from the seeds. But 'flax' is used too sometimes.

Nutrical with hidden nasty meds
A chicken thigh bone with a bit of leftover skin and meat
Tinned salmon with some glucosamine supplement mixed in

They'll also get some veggies before bed as well as their usual dry mix. Looking after my oldies, they'd not usually get so much protein on the daily.

Half a left over wheat wrap filled with cat food, banana, sweetcorn, leftover porridge and boiled egg, carrots, stir fry greens and a few egg noodles. A real mishmash of any left over in little portions :)

This week's food:

Sunday: Dry mix +
Chicken bone with scraps, seeded multigrain toast, banana, apple, plum, grape, frozen bean, cauliflower, carrot, onion, cauliflower leaf

Monday: Dry mix +
Chicken bone with scraps, potato, rice, baked beans, banana, frozen blueberries, spinach and rocket leaves, frozen bean

Tuesday: Dry mix +
Frozen pineapple, banana, cherry tomato, grape, cauliflower, broccolli, carrot, red capsicum, cauliflower leaf

Wednesday: Dry mix +
Grape, plum, banana, lebanese cucumber, green capsicum, rocket and spinach leaves, frozen peas, pasta

Thursday: Dry mix +
Multigrain seeded toast, pasta, noodles, rice, pork in oyster sauce, green bean, frozen carrot, cauliflower, stir-fired carrot, grape

Friday: (no dry mix given)
Rice, saddletail snapper, green bean, red capsicum, baby pak choi, plum

Saturday: Dry mix +
Rice, snapper, plum, cherry tomato, spinach and rocket leaves, brocolli, carrot, green capsicum

There's a bit more carbs and protien than usual as I'm trying to build up two malnourished boys, and am also using less dry mix than normal as it is over dependent on human cereals at the moment.

Is capsicum bell pepper? I didn't know rats eat the green ones.
