Today the ratties have discovered a taste for blueberries :D not something they will be getting often, sadly, because of the cost, but my local greengrocer had some at a bargain price so I treated both children and rats.

Doing a clear out of the chest freezer, just found 4 punnets (read: 'leftovers' plastic containers from wilkinsons) each of Gooseberries, Raspberries, blackberries and black currents. Dated 2008 so I doubt fit for human consumption. Generally things left to freeze for that long will be mush etc. So depending on them holding their shape either a smoothie or a fruit salad. Fridge needed cleaning out so they are having red pepper and banana too. Oh and there's a broccoli in there too.
