You could ask the vet for bisolven? Its a decongestant so will help dissolve mucus in her nasal passage. I hope she feels better soon xxx

Re: anyone on the wirral whos rat savvy injecting

Thinking about it, having her in a small contained space may help. If you have a small box she could sit in? You may be able to get to her scruff without having to restrain her much that way. If you hold her down so she can't move too much while holding her scruff with one hand? I dunno if that woul...

Re: Help and advise needed - One new cage mate or two?

I suggest getting two baby boys. As kittens they will be less likely to gang up on your older boy and it will be less problematic regarding the whole 'cycle' issue.
Two kittens will also be less of a problem introduction wise compared with an adult male :)

Re: Ins and outs of neutering?

Neutering is actually a pretty simple procedure. I did some work experience at the vets a few years ago and watched a rat neuter. Re: Fresh foods my rats ate today

Yesterday the boys had some carrots, green pepper and a bit of mushed up potato with gravy soaked in from our sausage casserole. Today they have had the remained of the tuna left over from a salad, some cous cous and some scrambled egg. Yum.

Re: Fresh foods my rats ate today

Is asparagus okay for rats? My mum has decided to try making some sort of asparagus soup and I was wondering if leftovers can be fed to hungry rats? I personally can't stand asparagus so I am sure there will be some off cuts from the soup making process going spare

I never knew you could get implants for rats etc. Does it work on cats? I don't think my ginger Tom has ever quite forgiven me for cutting his credentials off
