Re: Lice?

I couldn't find the Beaphar you mentioned, but I found this: http://i.imgur.com/mkIdLu4.jpg UltraCare Mite and Lice with Pyrethrins and Piperonyl Butoxide.... would that be fine? I want an effective solution but also the least toxic possible.

Re: Lice?

If I can get it over the counter that'd be great -- veterinarian bills can get expensive! I haven't noticed anything moving around, but I did notice this on her: http://imgur.com/a/NUN7f -- is that like an egg cluster or something?

Re: Lice?

Of course they could be mites too... but she's scratching an awful lot, she must have something going on. Is there any way I can treat this myself or is going to the vet for medication the only way?

Lice?

One of them is suddenly scratching/chewing herself every 20 - 30 seconds. I look a look and I do see a few white specs on the exterior of her fur, but I'm not sure if those are the lice eggs. Trying to find a magnifying glass. Have to diagnose it before I can treat it. Any suggestions?

Good ways to serve bones?

I thought that it would last then a lot longer if I boiled the remaining meat/grizzle off the bones and then let them dry in the sun for a few days. However, now I am wary about bacteria, if that is a legitimate concern when it comes to b...

Re: Does this look like bumblefoot to you?

Hi (welcome to the forum :) ) - I'm not sure what you're meaning, that looks like a perfectly normal foot to me. Bumblefoot is an infected sore, usually on the heel of the foot. There's an example picture here - http://www.ratfanclub.org/SKIN_files/image014.jpg Incidentally, kittens should not be h...

Does this look like bumblefoot to you?

https://imgur.com/a/aLWyA This is one of five females that are supposedly 5 weeks old by now. I got them a week ago. Before me they appeared to have lived one month in a sparse cage with wire-mesh flooring. Unsure as to the degree of cleanliness of their previous cage was. If this is bumblefoot, or ...
