Re: What would you do?

Generally he is in good health apart from the odd resp infection now and again. He's active but these last two days he has been sleeping more in his house I think he's grieving :( I know how he acted when we introduced him and his brothers to my old naked boy Bertie he bog brushed up and wasn't plea...

What would you do? (Question about final rat)

Ok so Wednesday tuts passed away in my hands. He was thrashing about in his cage so I scooped him out and whilst in my arms his head was turned to the side and body still jerking. It was awful but I remained calm for him and told him it was ok and that I loved him. Then nothing. He'd gone just like ...

What is this?

Ronny has this strange wart like lump on his shoulder at the back. When he scratches he keeps catching it and making it bleed. Bathed it in salt water to keep it clean. Its not like a normal lump. http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/tt254/blade100/23EA6916-C5DC-42C7-AD6F-525E82B24C68_zpsozuyrqot.jpg

Re: Berty and his teeth again

Just to let you know berty was put to sleep today at 9.50am. He had lost 15g since last Monday. Even with the high fat soft foods. He could've had heart or kidney issues but at 32 months old and being weak as well as going off his back legs (HLD) I thought it was kinder to let the little man rest fo...

Re: Berty and his teeth again

He's back, he had it done again.
He has however lost 10% of his body weight in a month even though he's fed soft foods everyday.

Re: Teeth problems!

Oh poor Boo. Berty went in again today with success, I always worry when there put under and I always get my vet to burr down the long tooth a lot more so it is uneven because I found making the over grown tooth the same length as the good one it was overgrown again in a matter of a week. Berty mana...

Re: Berty and his teeth again

I think I will see what the vet thinks, I will book him in for Thursday as normal. I don't think he's ready to go yet, he's got mild HLD too but he only ever stays on the floor level anyway. He still manages to climb just a little up to the door every morning to come out on the sofa under the blanke...
