Tonight they're having some homemade beef bolegnaise sauce stuff I begged off my mum, with extra green beans, asparagus, tomatos, kale, carrots, peas and sweetcorn

Yeah she took her bandage off within an hour....so I re-bandanged it only to have her remove it again... In the end I gave up and thought the initial chewing was strange vet environment and pain and that the heavy dressing was probably far more annoying. Post-op check went well, still clean and heal...

Same, infact I often go in daily so my fridge just overflows! last night I got a full basket of fruit and veg for less than £2. Best way for variety!

Last night they had salad, corn, carrot, cucumber, cabbage and tomato dirizzled with olive oil
This morning they're having various varieties of melon, grapes and parsley

Really should stay out of the yellow sticker bit at tesco, I'm like a vulture :twisted:

Yesterday they had edamame beans, blueberries, green leaves with a bit of vinegarette that came with it sprinkled with sunflower/pumpkin seeds. Babies also had lactol/chicken bones

This morning along with dry mix they got peach, apple and grape too.

aubergiene, tomoato, kale, couscous, and salmon oil - with a spoon of herb and garlic soft cheese cause it smelt a bit ick lol

Elsie just got home from her op.
It went well :) however she decided she wanted to chew her stitches out immediately after :roll: so she's been banndaged up now, and I'm hoping she will leave them. fingers crossed for a speedy recovery and a good intro with the newbies.

How are your babies annc?

Just an update on this, and I wondered if I could have some advice. The tail has been healing beautifully, minimal swelling and healthy looking scabs. However in the last 24hours or so (few weeks after original injury) the tip of her tail, up until just before the dammaged part is blackening :? She ...

Both of those sound likely. He was a bit side sucky, but there was no swelling or obvious signs of infection.

Although I don't disagree with PMs I don't think I will have one done as I don't really like the idea of him being prodded anymore :(

I just feel so helpless knowing that he was so healthy beforehand, thats two rats lost this month. other poorly rats too..it never rains, only pours I guess :(
